Philippe Lincy is an internationally respected percussionist, educator, and cultural ambassador, and the founder and leader of Doudoumba, a renowned African percussion ensemble. With a career spanning more than four decades, Philippe has dedicated his life to sharing the power of West African rhythm as a tool for connection, communication, and collective joy.

Founded in 1985, Band Doudoumba has become one of Australia’s most respected African percussion ensembles, performing nationally and internationally across festivals, cultural events, corporate functions, and major productions.
